Our History

The Salisbury Medical Group had it's origins in 1979 as a solo practice across the road, attached to the Amcal Pharmacy. In 1985, the practice moved into a building situated at the front of this property and we occupied it until 2001.

The old surgery served us well for 16 years. In 2000, we decided it was time to upgrade our facilities by building new medical premises behind the old surgery. Construction commenced on our current premises in February 2001. We were able to continue working in the old surgery while our new surgery was being built. In June 2001, we moved into our current premises. The old surgery was then demolished and our current car park was constructed. A picture of our old surgery and our new surgery can be seen below.
